Era é um projeto musical criado pelo francês Eric Levi, antes membro do grupo de glam rock Shakin' Street.
Suas músicas, geralmente cantadas em uma língua imaginária parecida com o latim, misturam música clássica, ópera e canto gregoriano com outros estilos contemporâneos. Músicas em inglês foram ganhando espaço a cada novo álbum, e no CD há também faixas cantadas em árabe.

His songs, usually sung in an imaginary language like Latin, mixes classical music, opera, and Gregorian chants with other contemporary styles. Songs in English were gaining momentum with each new album, and there is also CD tracks sung in Arabic.
